As a mental health advocate, Khaliya discusses dropout, burnout, depression, and disempowerment in the workplace, as well as how companies built by women may create cultures that better suit these women (and everyone). She explains how serving the world of women better will make the fabric of daily lives more equitable overall — from the investment in a female-led company to the reconstitution of our global culture — both corporate and personal.

Khaliya participated in the Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils in Dubai to chart the course for systemic change in health, energy and infrastructure through breakthrough technologies related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Khaliya worked alongside other members of the thirty person council of health luminaries, including Dame Sally Daves, the Health Minister of Britain, and Peter Piot, co-discoverer of the Ebola Virus, among others. 

MIDDELTHON-CANDLER GATE PRIZE

Jury Selection Committee Convening for the 2018 Middelthon-Candler Millennium Gate Prizes - Khaliya was part of the jury that convened on the island of Zealand, Denmark at Ledreborg Castle at the end of June 2017 to select next year's Middelthon-Candler winners for the Peace, Justice and Millennium Gate Prizes.

For her service to humanity,  Khaliya received the 2016 Middelthon-Candler Peace Prize in 2016 alongside First Lady Rosalind Carter, who won the Justice Prize.
